O’Rourke Engineering Ltd. (OEL) was incorporated on August 2, 1972.  Our company’s prime objective is to provide quality consulting and technical services to the Oil and Natural Gas Industry.

OEL has provided the Oil and Gas Industry in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan with Facility Design Engineering Consulting services since 1971.  We have also carried out projects in Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia and provide project support to various clients throughout North America.

The management system employed by OEL relies upon on-going project cost controls and close liaisons with the client.  Our Engineering Team is closely involved in all aspects of project management, which brings a high degree of efficiency and responsiveness to our services.  OEL set up a full service in house electrical group in 2001 to increase our services to our clients and to enhance our facility design management team.

In October 2006, OEL relocated to a newly renovated facility in the NE section of Calgary.  This process was undertaken so that OEL could house all of our employees under one roof and to provide room for future growth.  The new building incorporates formal recreation and classroom facilities for in house training sessions.

The Engineering Team at OEL is composed of competent personnel with over 80 years of combined diversified technical expertise.  This diverse background provides the depth required to bring a project through to completion in the most economic, technically sound manner possible.

OEL operates in a team format, with each team consisting of Chemical and Mechanical Engineering staff, as well as CAD drafting personnel, working cohesively as one unit.  Each team is supported by the Electrical Engineering group and the drafting pool.

OEL works very closely with clients ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.  By working directly with our clients it also ensures that any changes during the course of a project are dealt with in an expeditious manner.
